Version 1.1.0 Release Notes
In Book2Use version 1.1.0, updates have been applied to the following features: iRules, Manual, Payments, Forms, and Booking Schedule.
We improved our system with regards to setting Condo Rules. You may now find these rules in our app:
- Booking Advance
The Condo Admin can set a maximum book-in-advance period (in days). This rule can be applied to any existing facility.
- Booking Cancellation Period
The Condo Admin can set a booking cancellation period for each facility (in days). If a user books and pays for a facility, but subsequently wishes to cancel the booking, they can do so within the stipulated time frame. This rule can be applied to any existing facility.
- Booking Payment Timeout
The Condo Admin can set a deadline for users to make payment for their bookings (in days), after which unpaid bookings will experience a timeout. This rule can be applied to any existing facility.
- Booking Quota
The Condo Admin can set a booking quota for every condo facility. Its two parameters are bookings per unit and bookings per week/month.
- Disallow Cross-booking
With this feature, the Condo Admin can set a rule that prevents tenants from cross-booking condo facilities. For example, a tenant who has booked the BBQ pit for Period X would be unable to book the function room for Period X.
After booking a facility, users must make payment to the condo management. The Condo Admin uses this feature to manually update the status of, and confirm a facility booking after receiving payment from a user.
Every condominium has publicly viewable documents, such as facility rules, news and announcements, that are traditionally posted on bulletin boards. But most people would rather look at their smartphones. Hence, with this feature, the Condo Admin can publish such documents in the app’s Dashboard instead. In this way, users are more likely to see and download important information regarding their homes.
This feature allows users to view the schedule of facility bookings, which includes not just their own bookings, but bookings made by other condo tenants as well.
